5 starts for the help I just received from Dillon. He went above and beyond for me today in order to assist me with my registration and payment. I appreciate his willingness to assist me and his kindness. My phone was giving me all sorts of problems when trying to complete registration and add payment info. As well, I needed this done by the end of the day today and he managed it for me! So grateful. Thank you Dillon.

I canceled a summer camp for my daughter the week of for medical reasons. Cancelation policy states no refund, I get that. What I don't understand is why they would let my son take her place. When talking to staff (which is nearly impossible to get a hold of the higher ups) they said the policy is to give it to the next person on the waitlist. Well there was one person and they declined. Still wouldn't allow my son to go. What's even crazier is that if you cancel for any reason, when the next person takes the spot, they charge them full price, AND keep your money.

Buyer Beware! These people are crooks at best! They proceeded to take hard earned money of parents and with no remorse or corrective action! They had parents sign up for a full week of camp and then a week before the camp starts they decided to change the dates and not even offer to refund the money they essentially got under false pretenses. I have contacted the camp to voice my concern as well as receive a refund rightfully owed to me at this point! They have not gotten back to me and continue to ignore my requests to speak to a supervisor. This place is a joke and not the best we can do for our children and their summer care/fun obviously! I definitely will not frequent this sham of an organization ever again. What an expensive regrettable lesson to learn as a parent! I repeat Buyer Beware!

This place doesn't seem to have any type of management or do a very good job caring for the people who go there. At a recent basketball game, parents had to intervene with a rude belligerent parent because the staff wouldn't do anything and there's no representative from the YMCA on site. At a basketball practice this evening, a kid was using a basketball rim that he shouldn't have been using at a time when he shouldn't have been using it and as one of the people sitting there, I was hit in the face with a basketball. I feel more like filing a lawsuit against this place for the injury I sustained this evening more than taking my son back to the basketball league here. The fact that I need to suggest they need to have a supervisor actively on site managing people to avoid situations like what happened tonight or a couple weeks ago seems utterly bizarre and dysfunctional to me.

Avoid the YMCA in Denver. As members at the Downtown YMCA, when we decided to cancel and switch gyms, I had to talk to three different people and follow up twice to get the cancellation done. We cancelled because the facility flooded in January 2024 and most of the cardio equipment was still down in March 2024. To compensate for the gym being closed, they promised to give everyone the month of March for free... then they still charged us because we're technically registered with a different YMCA gym in Denver. We had recently moved and were going to the Downtown gym for a two months until it flooded. The YMCA's flimsy defense for ripping me off was based on a "policy" that members need to update their home gym when they move, which was never communicated to us in written or verbal form.
