What parents say
Powered by GoogleGreat experience so far! We signed up for a discounted summer pass and love the space, the employees, and the whole vibe at Whetstone. Seeing my seven-year-old climb up high and push herself has been such a sweet experience.
View on Google ↗I really want to love this gym because the gym itself is incredibly nice and the staff are amazingly friendly. I love the wall architecture, but the route setting is not my favorite compared to other gyms in the front range. Even the lower level boulders feel awkward and risky.
View on Google ↗If you're a family with kiddos and deciding which gym to come to for afternoon of fun or a membership, choose Whetstone. We just spent 3hrs here and everyone was able to climb. There was something for my oldest at 14 and youngest at 5 and my 2 in-between. Belay and Bouldering! Prices are fair. For members there is a fitness room and bar. They offer a kids climbing club as well.
View on Google ↗I absolutely love this place! This has become my new home away from home and fav place to be. The staff is incredibly friendly! The community/people here are so nice. There are plenty of auto belays for when I go by myself. Also the pricing is great for a membership with everything they offer, climbing, yoga, gym, bar, guest passes, community get together events, ect….. 10/10 recommend 🙌🏻🖤 Thanks for being awesome y’all!
View on Google ↗Edit: there's a pride sticker in the front window now, thank you so much! Even something as small as this can make a world of difference! And to the passersby: take Bryan's core and movement classes. While whetstone is the largest climbing gym in Fort Collins with a great diversity of challenging routes, there is no open support for the LGBT community. Not overtly supporting this small community makes the space feel less safe, and implicitly permits bigotry and hatred by a more dominant class; something that I have experienced on numerous occasions. I am holding your two stars hostage until you put up a pride flag. The core and movement classes with Bryan are next level. Go book his classes.
