We’ve had such a positive experience with Vail Ski & Snowboard School. We’ve trusted both of our kids with their instruction, and every time the instructors have been incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging. It’s clear they know how to make kids feel comfortable while also helping them build skills and confidence on the mountain. Every year we put them in atleast one lesson so they remember the basics. The entire process is also very easy to navigate, which makes a huge difference. Especially on that first day when things can feel a little hectic. From check-in to getting them settled, everything runs smoothly and takes away any stress. Another big plus is the pick-up and drop-off location. It’s centrally located on the mountain, making it super convenient to get the kids where they need to be and meet up afterward without any hassle, cause some days get very busy.

I had such a great experience during my first full day adult lesson that I signed up for the 3 for 2 adult lessons. My ski instructors were kind, patient, and motivating. They shared many techniques and suggestions for me to improve my skills. I started on easy greens and ended with longer more challenging greens and easier blues. I am proud of the improvements I made and I am a much more confident skier. I had a great time with my group each day. If I return to Vail, I will definitely take more lessons to continue to improve my skills and build up to more challenging terrain. Pedro, Valentina, and Mateo, thank you for making my trip memorable!

I had a great experience with Ander for my first time skiing (I’m 32)! I did a full day group lesson which I really do recommend. If you do a half day just be prepared to really only learn the basics, which is okay! But the full day allows enough time to get on the lift and practice a lot. The half day people did not get on the lift (which is also okay, depends on what you want to accomplish). Ander was really patient and kind and I really appreciated that because I fell a LOT and it took me a minute to really get the hang of it. I came back out the next day with my friends and I was able to do a green with no issues! I’ll be back next year and I’ll probably do another lesson to refresh.

I had a great experience with Naz for my beginner/intermediate lesson! He was patient and knowledgeable. He knew how explain the whys and hows of carving techniques for different types of terrain. Naz is a great coach and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a snowboarding lesson in Vail. I learned skills and drills that I will take forward into my future sessions on the mountain. Highly recommend!

I took two days of snowboard lessons with Naz and saw a huge improvement. He first watched my riding carefully and helped correct my edge transitions, which immediately made my riding much smoother and more controlled. He also introduced new techniques, including a more compact transition as well as the fundamentals of ollies and carving. His lessons are packed with useful techniques and tips—I learned a lot in just two days. Naz is also a very versatile rider. Whether you want to improve carving or learn flat tricks, park, or powder riding, he can both demonstrate the techniques and clearly explain the theory behind them. Overall, the lessons were extremely helpful and I made real progress. Highly recommend taking a lesson with Naz. I would definitely take another lesson with him next time I’m back at Vail.
