I just completed the IGA 10-day course and I am so impressed with this course content, the high quality instruction, and the assessments used and how they give timely feedback. Frank, Daniel, Doug, Teresa and Laura are excellent teachers. They are clear & thorough about every aspect of tour directing. They make the content very relevant and provide lots of real-life scenarios. I feel I am prepared for the next step which is to decide which part of all of this am I interested in learning more about and finding the best match for me and a tour company. Thank you to IGA for holding everyone to the highest of standards and helping us to move forward in getting paid to travel! And knowing what is important when we travel with others as a Tour Director. Thank you for a very positive experience and a lot of learning.

The training I received at the International Guide Academy has allowed me to have a career spanning more than 8 years as a tour director. I've lead tours around the United States and in foreign countries. My latest tours are in my own home state of New Mexico and I love them! As group travel is returning, more group leaders are needed to take passengers on wonderful adventures. I'm glad IGA taught me how I can be paid to travel!

My dream job was to become a tour manager. When the opportunity came to my hometown Ottawa in Canada, I had to take the course because I knew this is what I wanted and needed to do. When I graduated, I was not only proud of myself but found 2 amazing guys, son and father team Daniel and Frank who became my inspiration to succeed. They had given me the tools to succeed and understand what being a tour manager was all about and I will forever be grateful to them both. I highly recommend taking this course if your dream is the same as mine. Thorough, easy to understand, complete package. Thanks for helping me change my life. Hope to do this for many more years now that retirement is here. When you do what you love, it's passion!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The course was tough at times, but always engaging and super-informative. I couldn't have asked for better instructors - Daniel and Frank are personally invested in ensuring that everyone truly grasps the mountains of information. Best of all? It was fun, and I have made several life-long friends. Thanks to my training, I am up here enjoying one of my favorite states, Alaska, working for the summer season! Thanks IGA!

International Guide Academy is why I am a successful Tour Director!! I graduated as a Certified International Tour Manager in August 2017 and have been traveling/working ever since! IGA gives you the information, training and confidence to lead tours like a pro!! If you are looking for a 2nd career, just starting out or have just a few weeks of vacation for travel, Tour Directing is a great option! If you love people, have patience, are enthusiastic about travel, sign up with IGA and begin your career the right way! The picture is of me guiding a tour to Antarctica
