The Spot Climbing Gym

Super awesome spot to climb. The staff are really friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the facility is fantastic. Really fun climbing and fantastic setting, and the grading system is super easy to understand. Many of the boulders are longer more endurance based than what I am used to, but plenty of more traditional boulders too! Good variety of overhang, slab, comp style boulders, and much more. Really awesome cave here as well. Cannot recommend enough, this place is fantastic!

I really like things here. The staff is super friendly, The Spot lacks the big corporate vibe, which makes me like them 100x more. I wish there was a location closer to my house as if like to make this my primary bouldering spot. The second room is a bit warm, but everything is fun, reasonably priced (especially on Fridays during the summer) and I feel welcome here. There is also an indoor bicycle rack to ensure your bike stays safe and free 2 hour parking about a block away. I also like that they serve beer after a climb too but I never see anyone using it shockingly enough. Highly recommending checking this location out.

Hands down the best place to take someone for their first time bouldering (or a date night), especially on a Friday ($18 drop in). They have routes that are actually do-able for normal people, the music is on point, and they have a bar in the middle of the gym. There's a huge focus on community that you don't see at other gyms in Colorado, the people that I've met there are so genuine and down-to-earth too!

Amazing place! Great routes with lits of diversity in skill level, good for all different heights, and just great overall vibes. Definitely patronize this place former DBC-ers & all who want a welcoming & pride-friendly climbing spot. Also they have drinks on tap, how cool is that?!

Hands down my favorite gym Ive ever been to. Finally, a gym with good music. I never thought Id find you. I spent years scouring the earth - kings of leon battering my brain, tennessee whiskey bludgeoning my colon, techno beckoning me to the edge. Its here. A gym with good music. Think liquids, pylon, television, plastix, modettes, stuff like that. Anyway this is a large bouldering-only gym that has a custom grading system (I never did figure it out) and a very large variety in style. Lots of incline variation for the walls. Cubbies and hangers for folks, a gym area, easily accessible water fountains. Setting is fantastic here - challenging but achievable on the lower ends for fuddy duddies like myself. They have a small ares where you can have a beer (no climbing after of course). Really liked the selection and they showcase Colorado brewers very well. All in, this seriously was my favorite gym Ive ever been to and I hope I can come back someday. It was busy but friendly and energetic.
