School of Rock Boulder

The instructors, program director and band directors are fantastic! The performance program is welcoming, challenging, motivating and ultimately so much fun. In addition to playing music, I’ve made new friends that I look forward to seeing each week. As a bass player in the adult program I love challenging myself with something new in a very encouraging environment. Come join School of Rock Boulder!

Our daughter has learned and grown so much through her experience over the past couple years at School of Rock. She's especially gotten a lot from her lessons with Dominique. Although she is younger than many of the other students, it has felt safe and positive.

School of Rock is a really incredible place, full of wonderful staff and students. We decided to try it out for our son because he was feeling very isolated during the pandemic. The staff at School of Rock have amazing abilities when it comes to the performances they are able to elicit from the kids. I imagine that trying to coordinate a group of 10-17 year olds into a cohesive band must be akin to herding cats, but School of Rock clearly has some good tricks up their sleeve. School of Rock has been the one positive, steady thing that has kept our son afloat during the pandemic. His experience there has greatly improved his self-confidence and we've seen a huge advancement of his abilities in less than a year. School of Rock is a wonderful community of musicians that really know how to support and encourage kids. They meet kids on their level and work with what they've got.

Our daughter has been attending the Boulder School of Rock for 4 years now and it is the absolute best! The staff are fantastic and friendly. The kids learn so much, have an absolute blast, and all treat each other kindly. I cannot think of a better kids program that I have encountered nor think of a place our daughter would rather be.

The kids learned and performed 13 songs in a one week summer camp. And they pulled it off at a performance in front of family. I had expected them to do 1 or 2 songs at the most.
