Powered by GoogleFive years ago, our daughter Nalani walked into Precizion 509 unsure whether she even wanted to continue gymnastics. Today, she leaves as a Division I athlete committed to the United States Air Force Academy Gymnastics Team. While her success is the result of years of hard work and determination, there is no question that Coach Trisha and the Precizion 509 family played a defining role in helping her get there. As a dual military family, our lives have been shaped by assignments, relocations, and constant change. Nalani began gymnastics at four years old and quickly fell in love with the sport. However, during one assignment, there was no USAG program available where we were stationed. Although she continued training, she spent nearly three years without the structure and opportunities that many competitive gymnasts rely on for development. When she returned to USAG gymnastics in 2017, the cycle of military moves continued, bringing new gyms, new coaches, and the challenge of starting over time and time again. By the time we arrived to Colorado in 2021, Nalani was exhausted. She was tired of changing gyms, tired of constantly rebuilding relationships, and close to walking away from a sport she had loved her entire life. Then we called Precizion 509. From the very first conversation, Coach Trisha’s excitement was genuine. Before she ever met Nalani, she made her feel wanted. When Nalani walked through the doors, she wasn’t treated as just another athlete joining the roster. She was welcomed as family. That sense of belonging changed everything. Over the next five years, Nalani progressed from Level 8 to Level 9 and spent three years competing as a Level 10 gymnast. Along the way, she suffered a significant injury during her first Level 10 meet and missed the remainder of the season. What impressed us most was how Coach Trisha and her staff responded. They never once prioritized competition over her health. They supported her physically, mentally, and emotionally, reminding her that her value was not defined by scores or medals. That philosophy is what makes Precizion 509 special. Coach Trisha doesn’t just develop gymnasts. She develops confident, resilient young women. She teaches discipline, accountability, pride, and grit. She mentored Nalani throughout the collegiate recruiting process, helping guide her through camps, communication with coaches, recruiting strategies, and opportunities that ultimately led to her appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. For parents reading this review and wondering whether Precizion 509 is the right place for your child, our answer is simple: absolutely! This gym cares about your child as a person first and an athlete second. The coaches invest in character as much as skill. They celebrate successes, support athletes through adversity, and create an environment where kids feel valued, challenged, and loved. Precizion 509 was never just a gym for our family. It became a second home. The Air Force Academy banner hanging on their wall today represents far more than an athletic commitment. It represents five years of mentorship, trust, support, and genuine care from people who helped shape the young woman Nalani has become. To Coach Trisha and the entire Precizion 509 family: thank you for believing in our daughter, reigniting her passion for the sport, and helping her achieve her dreams. From the deepest parts of our hearts, thank you. The Mendez Family
View on Google ↗We have been going to P509 for about 2 years now, and we really enjoy it. 3 of my 5 kids go here. We love many of the coaches but we absolutely adore Coach Cassie! She is amazing with the kids and so creative to make gymnastics fun. She really is the biggest reason we keep coming back
View on Google ↗This place is a hidden gem. We went to open floor time and my 7-year-old had a blast! Then, he decided he wanted his birthday party there and the service is unparalleled. I brought the stuff and they did everything else. I even forgot a knife to cut the cake and they had me covered. They even did all the cleanup and put the gifts in my car! It was the lowest stress kid's birthday party I've ever done, and we'll absolutely do it again. It was also priced better than most of the other places I looked at. These people are birthday party pros. We have never taken a class there but I have friends who send their kids here for classes, and they have nothing but positive things to say about the instructors.
View on Google ↗I have been here for a review before. Here I am again. I highly recommend Precision 509. We’ve been to a couple other gymnastics places, and this one is the best! They actually teach things to help the kids progress to the next level. Coach Olivia is absolutely amazing and has the most patience I’ve ever seen. Coach Jessika was absolutely amazing, and I am so devastated that I didn’t see the email that she was leaving until it was too late. I would have loved to give her my gratitude, appreciation, and well wishes. And my daughter would have loveddddd to give her a big hug goodbye. Coach Jessika was the biggest thing she looked forward to when going to her class! My daughter cried when her new coach called out for them during her last class and she didn’t say, “Coach Jessika’s class!” - I didn’t know she had taken a step down, so I couldn’t prepare her little heart for that change. We are devastated because we lost an amazing coach, yet excited for her on her next journey. Coach Ivey seems like the PERFECT fit to replace Coach Jessika! And I am super happy that my daughter can have Coach Ivey if not Coach Jessika! She is patient & loving, and I saw that when a couple girls, including mine, cried when Coach Jessika wasn’t there anymore. If you’re looking for a gymnastics class for your child, I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Precision 509! 5 stars isn’t enough in my opinion. They deserve 10. All of the coaches are super nice, caring, patient, and knowledgable. I’ve learned that each place we live, I would like to take a piece of it with me to our next duty station, whether it be a hairstylist, dentist, doctor, etc. This time? It will be this gym for my children.
View on Google ↗I highly, HIGHLY recommend this gym! We have been to a couple other gyms here and around. This one is by far our favorite. Ms. Olivia & Ms. Jessika are seriously the most patient, kind and caring coaches (all of the coaches and staff are but they are who we interact with every week). I really don't know how Ms. Olivia does it though, I have never seen patience like hers before! Ms. Jessika has helped one of my children be more confident in her ability to just try things and to keep practicing at home. I am very grateful we have this place here. We will continue going here, and I will continue recommending it to people. (Ms. Olivia & Ms. Jessika, please never quit!)
