Powered by GoogleMy boyfriend took me to see The Wallflowers and it was such an amazing show!! We enjoyed the venue, the staff, and the concert! It was a relaxed vibe and we felt comfortable and had enough room to dance and feel good in our seats.....4th row from the stage. We'll also be coming back in October for Swan Lake, which is going to be amazing!
View on Google ↗My family and I really enjoy this facility. It's a beautiful building in downtown close to a lot of attraction such as America. The beautiful Park and the Olympic museum. Downtown is a beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the beauty of Colorado Springs. The facility itself is a great place to see a show. The nutcracker, swan lake, the philharmonic doing masterworks as well as pops series. The staff is always very helpful and really seem to enjoy their jobs.
View on Google ↗I think it's a great venue. Park in the garage; it's cheap and easy to get to. Once inside it's easy to navigate. My first time it was easy to figure out where to go. Just about every seat is good. Although, I consider the balcony a bit far for me. Mezzanine is great for seeing the whole stage. Row E through G are about level with the stage. If you want to see the feet of dancers these rows are where it's at. The pic is from a balcony about level with the mezzanine. The pics looks farther than it feels when actually present. Concessions sold water, soda, alcohol, candy. About $5 for non-alcoholic drink items.
View on Google ↗For the most part , the venue isn't perfect but I also can't find a lot of the things to criticize. Excellent convenient parking garage attached to it for $5 parking, super friendly staff, clean, nice bathrooms, plenty of drink options, pretty comfy seating, and overall a pretty great performing arts center venue, even for concerts. Right now, this venue has better acts then our local amphitheater that millions were spent on. With that said, I approve of this theater for some local enjoyment! It's a nice small size one with a capacity of around 1900. Go CS!
View on Google ↗We recently visited the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts and had a great experience overall. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Its downtown location is convenient and easy to find, although parking can be a bit frustrating. Street parking is available, but the meter directly in front of the building wasn't working during our visit, which added a little confusion. The theater itself is impressive. It's large enough to accommodate a sizable crowd, but it doesn't feel overwhelming once you're inside. The layout provides a comfortable atmosphere and offers a good balance between being spacious and still feeling connected to the performance. The staff members we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was spending some time outside before the show. The Humpty Dumpty sculpture on the front lawn was a fun surprise, especially for families with children. There is also a large grassy area that creates a pleasant outdoor space to relax, take photos, or simply enjoy the surroundings before heading inside. Overall, the Pikes Peak Center is a wonderful venue for performances and events. Aside from the parking challenges that can come with being downtown, we had a very positive experience and would gladly return for another show.
