Powered by GoogleMy two-year-old son and I started coming to Music Together classes about six months ago at the recommendation of his physical therapist. It is one of the highlights of our week. Ms. Jen is a warm and enthusiastic instructor and always creates a fun, interactive, stimulating environment for everyone. It's a hit for babies, toddlers, and bigger kids alike - no small feat.
View on Google ↗Coming to music class with Mrs. Jen is truly the highlight of my little one’s week! Mrs. Jen is so enthusiastic, welcoming, and incredibly talented as a musical teacher. The class offers a variety of different kinds of music that maximizes my baby’s learning experience. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and creative experience to share with your baby or toddler! We feel so lucky to have found this class and community!
View on Google ↗I cannot recommend Ms Jen’s class enough. I started taking my daughter when she was 16 months and it’s been amazing to see her open up in class and start dancing and singing (sort of ;)) with the other kids. She absolutely loves the class and Ms Jen and looks forward to it every week.
View on Google ↗This Music Together class through Notable Kids Art Center has been one of the best bonding activities I’ve done with my daughter. We started when she was less than one, and even in those early “my kid is basically a little blob and I’m participating by myself” days, I never felt out of place in this supportive, welcoming environment. The class focuses on rhythm, movement, and playful musical exploration — not formal singing or music training — which makes it perfect for parents who don’t necessarily think of themselves as “musical” but want their kids to have that exposure/experience. My understanding is that Music Together is a franchised program, but I’m specifically reviewing the Centennial/Parker, CO Music Together class with instructor Jen Miller, because I imagine experiences can vary by teacher. Jen Miller is incredible. She plays live guitar, brings so much warmth and humor, and somehow makes every child feel seen by weaving their names and whatever they’re doing right into the songs. You can literally watch kids light up when they realize they’ve become part of the music. Parent participation is key, but the atmosphere is so relaxed that everyone just jumps in and follows along the best they can. You’ll see moms, dads, grandparents, and nannies all joining in, which makes the room feel joyful and full of music from every direction. I often leave class with simple ideas we could use at home, and the rhythm, rhymes, and repetition have been great for language development too. My daughter started out shy and cautious in group settings, and I really credit this class with helping both of us gain confidence. Even now that she has other social outlets, I still pull her out of daycare (or sacrifice precious weekend hours) to come because it’s that meaningful for us. If you’re looking for a warm, low-pressure way to introduce your child to music and help them feel comfortable in a group setting, this class is a wonderful place to start. Thanks, Ms. Jen, for bringing light and life to all you teach (kids and their grown-ups).
View on Google ↗Noteable Kids and seeing Ms. Jen are the bright spot in our week!! She is a gem, always creating such a warm, welcoming and comfortable space for everyone. She is so in tune with all the kids, makes every session unique, playful and engaging with wonderful music. Our boys sing the songs the rest of the week and have learned so much from her. We couldn’t recommend Ms Jen more!
