NCF Boulder

Our son has been fencing at Northern Colorado Fencers for just under a year, and it has been such a positive experience. He started when he was eight, and even though we drive about 25 minutes to get there, it is absolutely worth it. Andrea, one of the co-owners, is truly the heart and soul of NCF. She is generous with her time and attention, genuinely cares about each child who walks into the gym, and has a wonderful way of making fencing fun, engaging, and approachable for beginners. She goes above and beyond for the kids and the NCF community. We also love that NCF is family-owned and family-run, which gives it such a welcoming and personal feel. Between the regular instruction, summer camps, and the care put into creating positive experiences for kids, we are so grateful to have found NCF.

My son is a new fencer here. Gary and Andrea are fabulous. It’s a low pressure activity you can fit into any schedule. My son has fun, gets a better workout than his soccer or basketball practice, and leaves enthusiastic. We also had the best birthday party there for him! It was affordable, over the top in fun and decorations, and the kids all learned enough fencing to bout each other at the end. We could not have been happier and kids loved this new experience - many begging their parents to let them return.

We've been extremely pleased with Northern Colorado Fencers! My oldest son was not interested in conventional sports (despite his father's desires! hahaha) and we were randomly watching the NCAA Championships for various sports and fencing came on. He asked if he could try it and we've been going every since! They are great with kids and can accommodate skill levels of all ranges. Highly recommend!

Great fencing club for all ages. It's fun, but they know how to remain competitive. Gary is very experienced, and he recruits internally to coach and mentor others.
