What parents say
Powered by GoogleWe've participated in Landsharks for several years now. It's a great program where the kids learn running techniques, have fun and get an opportunity to let some energy out! It's so rewarding watching the kids as they cross the finish line during the races. The kids are excited to realize what they have accomplished! The Landsharks program is embedded at many different schools in the area and the Landsharks organizers do a wonderful job overseeing the overall program and providing guidance and training to all the coaches!
View on Google ↗This will be our family’s fifth season running with Landsharks. We have four kids running and I’m a coach. We love it for the life lessons the program teaches such as leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship. Also, there’s really nothing better than seeing the pride on the kids’ faces when they finish their first race.
View on Google ↗Horrible communication with parents. This morning we got an email stating that there was a change in coaching staff, practice time, and venue. Just five hours later we got an email saying the team has been disbanded. Unacceptable. My daughter is crushed. She’s been waiting months for running club to start. After just two practices the season is over. Do bettter, Landsharks.
View on Google ↗I was hoping that this would be a good opportunity for my child to learn how to run and develop a new skill since running will be a part of PE in middle and high school. They did not teach pacing or breathing techniques. I learned this the day before their first meet when I took them to the local school track to practice. I could not, in good conscience, have my child participate in their meet only to be humiliated or injured.
View on Google ↗An amazing organization and staff! Everyone involved from the staff to the site directors to the coaches all care about all the kids and do everything they can to make this a great experience for every kid! Love Landsharks!
