Powered by GoogleFamily and I just visited this pool and between lifeguards rules are different... My children (8,6, and 4) spent a good 1 1/2 hour going down the slide in the corner by the "baby" area before a lifeguard had told them that 8 and 6 year old were to tall to go down it... Before that my very brave 4 year old was jumping off the diving board with her life vest floaties on for a good 10-20 minutes before another lifeguard said she couldn't do that.... We went during a time were it wasn't busy... We practically had the whole swimming pool to ourselves.. they're were at least 3 life guards at a time and only after a certain amount of time my kids were told they couldn't do certain things... Very inconsistent. Also slide was down for apparently "30 years" now according to some young lifeguard... The lazy river was apparently closed according to one life guard where another one said it wasn't closed and that there just wasn't a current... Lots of inconsistencies. After all that it seems like all my kids could do is swim in the big pool while everything else was off limits. Lifeguards all need to be trained and put on the same page about things... && Things needed to be updated like the slide. Its unfortunate, I grew up going to this rec center and it was a blast! Seems like it's gone down hill.
View on Google ↗Me giving 2 stars is being very generous because it definitely deserves a one star my kids and I love going to the pool there but the lifeguards there are all pretty rude except for one. They make it very obvious when they talk about u. The rules are different each day. The spa is ok wish the jets were better. I feel like u are not allowed to have fun and that’s sad it’s a pool for crying out loud. Also when I was there one of the lifeguards have VERY LONG POINTY NAILS I don’t know about u but if something was happening I would not want her help! This is just my opinion but I think where the spa rules are I feel like they need to be put better the amount of pregnant women I see going in there and sitting for hours is sad to see. I know it is their body which I get, but I just think the spa rules in that thing where the rules are needs to be put somewhere where you can actually see it not just tucked in a corner. But other than that it’s a good place to go to when it is raining!
View on Google ↗I come here mid day sometimes for runs and it’s never super packed. Locker rooms are suitable, equipment is clean and works well.
View on Google ↗Great Rec Center with fair pricing and lots of options for exercising, including personal training and classes. The mornings are great, and there's normally a good enough ratio of people to equipment to hardly ever have to wait for a machine. Definitely worth checking out!
View on Google ↗Used to be a great rec center. Then they decided to data farm patrons. Went by to soak after a long weekend camping, all of a sudden they want full name, address, phone number and birth date. No thanks, I'll drive the extra 10 minutes and eat the non-resident surcharge to go to Louisville, where they're not collecting my personal information for "emergency purposes". Y'all do not need my full address, email, phone number or my birth date for ANY REASON. You're either selling my data or planning to spam the hell out of me, and either way, get bent. I will not be back as long as this policy is in place.
