Tara is amazing. My son started in grade 3 because I was concerned he wasn’t getting enough practice in school to make math “automatic.” As a principal, I know how essential foundational math skills are. In 18 months he was not only more confident, he was three years ahead of grade level. He knows that Ms. Tara will help with any questions, and the whole staff are accommodating about getting work together when we’re going out of town. The only area where improvement could be made is the waiting area. It’s very loud (to the point where my child has said it can be hard to concentrate while he’s in the classroom working), and many families do not respect the common-sense expectations to remain on the quieter side and to keep younger children from going in and out of the classroom.

Tara and her team have created an environment that fosters excellent study habits and provides an optimal workspace for my children to practice and enhance their knowledge in both math and ELA. I've noticed a significant improvement in my son's math scores and a notable enhancement in my daughter's problem-solving skills. The curriculum effectively lays a solid foundation. Above all, consistent practice leads to perfection. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be a part of this supportive community. I highly recommend this facility. Tara personally involves herself in each child's progress, offering guidance to both my kids and me. Success is a product of consistent habits, and Kumon provides an excellent framework for establishing that routine and practice schedule. Thank you Tara and Kumon team.

There are a lot of reviews out there about Kumon and how effective it is, etc. but we have found that for our child it has worked really well. We started at Kumon in October 2018 to bring my daughter’s math up. She has since progressed from one level behind grade to working 2 levels above grade in just 4 months. Kumon absolutely requires involved parents and I would be lying if I said my daughter loved every second of it but it has produced results. Now, from my research, there are a few big drivers of success with Kumon. Perhaps one of the most critical ones is the center itself, or rather the person running it. I have read horror stories about other centers and how utterly unforgiving they were but I have not found that to be the case at this center. They don’t just drop a ton or worksheets on your kid and “expect them to figure it out totally on their own.” Ms. Tara takes the time to sit with my daughter and offer strategies to solve new problems. We are going to be expanding into reading to compliment the math shortly. Thank you Ms. Tara.

“I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with this Kumon center. In August, I was charged $350 for September tuition, even though I was clearly told the monthly fee would be $320. Then in September, I was charged an excessive $750 for October tuition. At no point was I given any explanation or notification for these extra charges. I want to make it absolutely clear that there has never been any delay or missed payment on my side. These charges are unjustified, non-transparent, and highly unprofessional. Parents should be very cautious before enrolling their children here.”

Mrs. Tara and her team are very good and teachable for all the kids in the Kumon. My kids go to Kumon probably for 3 years. We are very pleased with the achievements of our kids. Thank you 🙏
