I recently took my cello to Von’s Violin Shop for some maintenance, and they did a fantastic job! I had quite a bit of work done, including re-gluing the bouts, reshaping the bridge, adjusting the sound post, putting on new strings, and getting a bow re-hair. The craftsmanship was excellent across the board. What really stood out to me was that they took the time to make final, personalized adjustments right when I picked it up to ensure everything was perfect. The turnaround time was very reasonable, and the employees were incredibly pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Von’s and look forward to having them take care of my cello for years to come!

Kevin at Von’s was so helpful and did an amazing job on my cello repair and string replacement. He made sure I was well-informed on the options and patiently walked through them with me. I also found the cost of the repair and strings very reasonable. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and experienced luthier you can trust, I highly recommend them.

Von's Violin Shop is a fantastic place to get string instrument maintenance done. I've gotten my strings replaced, sound post adjusted, bow re-haired, and bridge replaced at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. Seriously, the employees make the process such a pleasant breeze that I find it less of a hassle to drive to the shop to get my strings replaced rather than do it myself. Going in again soon to get my strings replaced!

We started renting with Von’s when my daughter needed a 1/8th size cello. We just recently moved into a full size. Vons has been nothing but excellent to us. If you are considering a rent-to-own option, look no further. Excel service, great products, fast repairs. I could not recommend a better shop.

We had a great experience at Von's! Our cello had a fallen sound post and Ming was able to help us fix it the same day without charging an arm and leg. He is very knowledgeable and taught me so much that I never knew after playing the violin for over 30 years! I will definitely be going back to him again. One of the owners was there as well and he was super nice and helpful as well!
