They were beyond sweet to my newly minted seven year old. She wanted a skateboard for her birthday and I figured, support local- even if it is a little more than ordering online. I can tell the quality is top notch and they knew what they were doing. They let her watch them put it together and pic out all the little parts. Glad this business exists. Thank you for making my kids day!

Not a crazy board selection. But I mean it's always gonna be hard to cover so many different graphics with so many widths. So I ended up with a board I initially wasn't thrilled about. Just cause I was expecting a crazy graphic that spoke to me or some shit, it being my first board in like 4 or more years. But yeah they guy asked what I wanted and suggested, when I was unsure or since I was more used to cruiser wheels. He actually picked some 58mm that are hard enough to not feel like in gonna eat shit at every crack. Obviously the superhighway trucks are a game changer and I still can't believe where they managed to get so much of the weight off without having any of the durability be effected. So yeah gotta say I was super impressed with his ability to get what I wanted but still into more of a street skatable board where I can still get some tricks and shut. Good environment. Genuine conversation. It helps everyone is there with a commonality. But yeah, since being at Pluto's sports in Knoxville TN growing up as my local shop. I haven't felt that same authentic skater owned and skater ran skateshop that just wants to see as many ppl on a board as possible. I do with they had more sizes possibly for pants cause I liked the style but I'm a tall and skinny so it wasn't expected. Also ate shit at times and didn't feel like my knees were going to inpload which was more of an actual concern I'd been having then should be rational. Board has Hella pop tho and whatever the same nose and tail concave concoction they are claiming to be a selling point, sounds like just every skateboard besides some type of specialty shaped deck. Idk tho shit works like it should. So I'm glad that I finally pulled the trigger and said I'll deal with the inevitable injuries when they come and so far after many missed pops and flicks and spinners I'm sooo happy to feel that familiar sting that make sne just want to get up faster and commit more the next one. Fr tho. Skateboarding is a great escape from the constantl lime scooter riding ive been doing. And it feels good to just be pushing by cars going down and then up hills.. Idk what else to add except that it's a fr great vibe and you can really tell the difference immediately when you walk into a place like that.

The crew was super helpful and respectful but unfortunately they don’t allow you to personally set up your own board after making a purchase at the shop anymore because people were supposedly getting hurt. (Unless they were just on some BS) Support your local shop, but this is not the way it should be. I had to return my purchase on principal when I found this out.

My 8th old son will never forget buying his first skateboard. The guys went all out explaining everything to him and including him in putting it all together. It could not have been a better experience.
