This is an exceptionally well-run fencing center. We have tried several others, and this one is easily two stars above the rest. The owner and his children are all active fencers, and that passion and experience really shows in the way the program is run. What we appreciate most is the environment. It is positive, encouraging, structured, and genuinely supportive of the kids. Our children feel welcomed, challenged, and excited to keep improving. It is clear that the staff cares not only about developing strong fencers, but also about creating a place where kids can build confidence and enjoy themselves. Highly recommended

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Denver Fencing Center and the profound impact it has had on our son, Maddox. Since joining, Maddox has grown not only as an athlete but as a young person. The transformation in his confidence has been incredible—he’s more self-assured, focused, and driven in all areas of life. Physically, fencing has helped him become stronger, more agile, and disciplined in ways that traditional sports never quite reached. The workouts are challenging yet fun, and the constant encouragement from the coaching staff has helped him push past limits he didn’t even know he had. What truly sets Denver Fencing Center apart is its community. Maddox has had the chance to train alongside some of the most dedicated and talented fencers, making lifelong friendships along the way. The coaches are phenomenal—not only are they experts in the sport, but they genuinely care about their students' personal growth and well-being. They’ve been mentors to Maddox both on and off the strip. Thanks to the opportunities and exposure he’s received here, doors are opening—tournaments, travel, and even collegiate interest have all come into view. Denver Fencing Center has given Maddox so much more than just fencing skills. It’s given him a passion, a purpose, and a path. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this outstanding community!

We hosted a 10 year old birthday party here and Phil and Matt were amazing hosts! Many of the parents commented that it was the best birthday party they have been to. The kids were so eager to learn and try fencing and it was all around fun. My son is more interested in fencing than ever! My only wish was that they were closer!

This is a great place for all fencers, no matter what your skill level. The coaches are thoughtful and work to help fencers learn the correct moves in order to become a competitive fencer.

An awesome facility, great and caring coaches and an overall wonderful community- that is DFC. Unlike some other clubs in town, they teach all 3 weapons and have great regional as well as national level tournaments. I would especially recommend it to any parent looking at fencing for their kids.
