We absolutely love DBT! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and my kids instantly felt comfortable and encouraged. They love how the classes are both challenging and rewarding — it’s the perfect balance of growth, discipline, and fun. I’m so grateful for the positive environment they’ve created. Highly recommend to any family looking for a studio that truly cares!
This is a wonderful studio! Amazing training with amazing teachers, lots of performance opportunities, nice dancers, and such a welcoming environment. The teachers and staff truly care about each dancer. We are new to Colorado and could not have asked to find a more perfect place for our two daughters to dance!
Outstanding ballet school! My daughter has been growing her artistry and technique as a dancer at DBT for over 6 years. She has had wonderful opportunities to be taught by world class teachers and perform in beautifully choreographed theater productions. She has made lifelong friendships in DBT’s supportive and encouraging environment. We are so thankful for this wonderful ballet studio.
We LOVE DBT! They are very welcoming to everyone who comes through their door. My 2 children who do not attend regular classes are always welcomed by DBT's teachers and peers wholeheartedly. When joining in their extra programs like production, my kids have never come home crying from how anyone has treated them, unlike other studios we have tried. DBT feels like family, even to me as a parent. It's such a great community! I am amazed at their teen girl dancers, I would not guess they are in high school. Such great tallent, and that comes from the teachers, hands down! I also have a boy dancer, and I feel DBT with their productions have shown there is room for boy dancers in the dance world. Bonus, kids are not allowed screen time during their time at DBT. ( During this review, my kids are 8 and 9 years of age)
Holy cow. After just one week at Denver Ballet Theatre Academy (DBT), my child said, “I’ve learned and improved more in ballet this week than I did in months at the other dance school!” And she wasn’t exaggerating. We watched her perform something she’d been struggling with for almost a year at her previous studio, and after just one week at DBT, she did it flawlessly. It was such a proud moment as a parent.
DBT is the real deal—no nonsense, to the point (no pun intended), and truly invested in helping their students grow. They care about each child’s development, not just as dancers but as individuals, and it shows. If you’re looking for a serious, caring, and professional ballet school, DBT is where you want to be.
