Was attempting to transfer and had a few questions but just kept getting referred to email different people/professors/advisors and most wouldn't respond and the others said they didn't know. Also tried calling and talking to someone but was then told to email people again. huhhh?? Seems like the teachers are awesome but there is total disregard for potential students.

I’m in my third year at UCD…and while it’s definitely bringing me closer to obtaining my degree, there has been a few struggles. First, there is never any parking at this institution. If you time it right you can find a spot closer to the Tivoli after other students get out of class. But it should never have to be such a hassle, ESPECIALLY considering we pay almost $10 to park in the garage and then maybe another $6 for over 3 hours of metered parking which is ridiculous. I’m grateful for scholarships otherwise I would’ve gone to a community college. They have continuously been blocking off metered parking right by the tiovoli, you know why??? Not for a new parking structure that’s for sure. Instead, the school thought it was a wise idea to place an apartment/student housing right in the middle of the busiest area on campus. Yayyy!!!! For all of us that have to now park a block away waiting for this soon coming disaster. And then on top of that, I’m trying to get to my 9:30 class and they have again blocked off a major metered parking area. Why this time?? Because they’re setting up massive Christmas trees in the beginning of November. Hooray! So long story short, I went home. I’m not going to pay extra for parking or park 2 blocks away for a class where the professor hasn’t even uploaded a SINGLE assignment and it’s the middle of the semester. Complete waste of time.

Most ill-equipped city university I have seen. Financial aide is sketchy and not transparent. Even with financial aide and FAFSA I have to work 2 jobs to pay off the remainder of the cost. Don't bother bringing your car here use public transport you're better off. Its $500 monthly for a student parking pass. Food options are terrible in dining halls and 3rd party businesses operate on campus not letting students use their Flex Cash or meal swipes when other colleges nationwide do. Also there's no NCAA sports programs here. Professors are also jaded but I personally would be too. I am getting my degree here though, and Denver in itself is an interesting place to be. This place is okay if you don't have any other choice and trying to get into the medical or pharmacy school.
