The return on investment is abysmally low. On top of tuition, parents are required to volunteer for 5+ hours of fundraising events every month. These revenue streams don’t seem to have any effect on the quality of the choirs. I attended two concerts: one for the junior choirs and one for all choirs. The first concert was a train wreck. Not a single soloist sang on key. And the choreography was nonexistent, even though they apparently have half a dozen choreographers on their payroll. Even the musically trained guests we brought thought it went extremely poorly for a children’s choir. The second concert was several hours long, and yet the junior choirs were given less than 10 minutes of stage time. The senior choirs performed on par with the average high school choir. Think twice before you make the commitment to join this organization, especially for the less important junior choirs. Their bloated staff love to tout their own legacy, but fail to actually provide a quality education to these kids. There are plenty of top quality choral groups in the springs that legitimately earn their tuition and reputation, but CSCC is objectively not one of them.

Hosted the In Harmony festival and screwed four schools out of individual performances! No one was informed that their child from these schools wouldn't be having individual perfomances. Horrible experience for the parents! Several upset children involved that were not informed as well! Not to mention the fact that they also insisted no recordings allowed so several families were forced to pay $32 per dvd copy of the perfomance to only have their child on stage at the very end! These people should really be ashamed of themselves for the devastation they have cause many!

This organization is incredible! I have a child who struggles with self esteem and Childrens Chorale has been life changing for him. He feels special and talented now. His light is back and I cant thank them enough!
