Powered by GoogleI am extremely happy that we found this school. Mr. Snider is amazing at what he does. He pays close attention to each and every students’ form, making certain that each student is gaining the most from each class. Proper form prevents injury. The studio is brand new with top-of-the-line equipment. Plenty of room for everyone and a nice area for the parents to observe the class. They offer an easy payment plan, as well as, excellent class choices. These are a few things that are important to our family and I couldn’t be more happy with our choice. This school exceeds all our expectations and more. Update April 8, 2025 We ended up leaving national karate it didn’t work out. Our contract was a year. The instructor was unable to connect with my child kind of sarcastic and rude to children. Somewhat of a bully. Don’t recommend. Sorry didn’t work out. Owner seem to be more concerned with money than the progress of the children
View on Google ↗Our now adult son thrived under Mr. Sidner when he was a little boy. I took classes too. Sam attended karate for 5 years, getting his black belt just before his 10th birthday. Mr. Sidner demanded excellence and would not promote Sam to train for his black belt until he perfected the last 10% of his technique and his attitude. Big life lesson learned which Sam still talks about: the last 10% takes a kind of dedication & focus that can set a person apart. Sam EARNED that black belt. Mr Sidner is wonderful with kids and he's demanding. Plus, HE IS FUN!!! Investing in karate with Mr. Sidner was one of the best parenting decisions we made. "Might for Right" Thank you Mr. Sidner!
View on Google ↗This is such a great karate school! Not only does my daughter love the classes but she's learning a lot and growing quickly. Master Sidner is excellent with children! He has a way of commanding the attention of the students while making them (and the parents) laugh all while giving excellent instruction. I think every kid needs to learn karate and self-defense and South Colorado Springs National Karate is the best place to do that.
View on Google ↗Our oldest (6) loves his classes at National Karate. Started at age 5. Mr Sidner is patient and kind while maintaining structure and boundaries with the kids. Does his best to maintain an environment conducive to learning. He also knows every student by name. occasionally a teen will teach, and we've yet to be dissatisfied with anyone who we've seen teach our kid.
View on Google ↗I had been on the look out for a flexible, affordable and fun extracurricular activity for my kids and found this gem! The schedule is flexible for those working parents with crazy schedules and you are able to choose which two days (or more) you’d like to bring your kids in. On top of that, Master Snider is absolutely amazing with the kids! My youngest has trouble focusing and staying still but Master Snider redirects him and keeps him on track. My kids look forward to karate so, so much! Come in & see for yourself why the kids & parents enjoy their time here. We’re so thankful for the whole team!
