Challenger Learning Center of Colorado

Summer camp, 17 kids and one of the best hands on experiences ever. They got to program robots to go through mazes and the highlight was the planetarium to end the visit. It was clean, it was pleasant and the kids talked about it all the way back to school. I don't believe they are open to the public because it's part of a school. But if you have the opportunity to take a group of kids, I would highly recommend this little gem!

I went here for a field trip with my class. We got to choose a job beforehand and I got the communication job. It was so so fun. They took us in a rocket and the simulation was just overall so much fun. The staff was so nice, and it was amazing. We got to see the flag that was on the actual rocket of challeger. There was also a tire that had also gone into space. It’s fascinating. I totally recommend. It is awesome.

A truly fantastic way to ignite the imagination of students. Our classes love the missions and this is a hidden gem in Colorado Springs for any educator.

My kiddo went to summer camp here. The building that we were in was very hot, as there is no control of the thermostat apparently. This is rather unfortunate. My kiddo felt sick because of the heat on the last day and didn’t feel good enough to participate in activities for the parent presentation, which I showed up early for. He was tearful and sad about this. He was not otherwise sick at all. I’m surprised that there’s no use of oscillating fans or other methods to cool kids down with. What a disappointing way to end. Also, when playing outside, my kiddo got hurt pretty badly and had a few noticeable injuries and nobody said anything to me. I obviously could see that he had been hurt and I handled it but nothing was done for my kiddo during camp.

My kids loved their experience at this camp! Fun and friendly staff! All of the hands on experience is a lot of fun for kids and a great way to make learning come to life!
