My son had a blast! His main criticism was feeling like he had less flexibility and options with food than other places. My only criticism would be I think the check in process/start to camp could be more fun, inviting, and clear. Otherwise, it was a great experience with an attentive and knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun was had.
View on Google ↗Both of my girls spent four weeks at this camp, and they had the best time! Every day was filled with fun adventures like kayaking, paddle boating, biking, and hiking. They came home with so many wonderful memories and exciting stories to share. One of the highlights was that my younger daughter learned how to ride a bike in just two days! She was so proud of herself and absolutely loved it. The teachers were incredibly kind, supportive, and wonderful with the kids. It was clear they genuinely cared and made the camp experience both fun and safe. My girls are already asking if they can go back next year, which says it all. We highly recommend this camp to any family looking for an unforgettable summer experience!
View on Google ↗My son is 7 and has done 3 Avid camps so far. We started with the Explorer camp last year and this summer, he did the Adventure camp. He had so much fun we ended up doing 2 weeks of Adventure camp as he begged to go back! I highly recommend Avid4 Adventure! Everything is top-notch, professional, and fun! They communicate well with you prior to and throughout the program, the instructors are great and seem to love what they do, and the kids get to experience outdoor adventures with high-quality equipment in beautiful places. My son had a blast and they teach them important information about how to stay safe in nature while having fun! I always feel like my son is in good hands when I leave him at Avid camp. We will return every summer no doubt!
View on Google ↗Our 10 year old son did the one week sleep away camp at Blue Sky this year. It was his first experience at a sleep away camp and he LOVED it. It was the perfect amount of challenge, autonomy and support. He came home feeling like a huge success. This was a formative experience for him. He can’t wait to go for two weeks next summer! Special callout to Alex and Riley who were amazing counselors!
View on Google ↗We have sent our kids to the expedition camps in colorado for 5 years now. We have 3 kids, so we have experienced a lot of different camps with them. They do a wonderful job. The kids learn so much, gain independence and confidence, and have a blast. The counselors have always been top notch. Like any kid’s camp there can be personality conflict among the kids, but that has been rare across 5 years, which is remarkable. We highly recommend it.
