What parents say
Powered by GoogleAscent is a welcoming and chill place to climb. ALL of their youth instructors are patient and great teachers. My teen attended class with many different instructors and every single one was great! My teen has had polite offers of collaboration from members on several occasions and they have all been great. The sound levels in the gym are quieter than I would have expected them to be. Ascent is in great shape and well maintained. We love coming here!
View on Google ↗The gym itself is nice, but it’s a bit small and gets very crowded in the evening. I’d been here before for a drag show and that was great - love the inclusivity. 2/3 of the staff were really nice when I last visited, but the 1 that wasn’t was so rude that I pretty much wanted to leave immediately. I’ve heard about rude staff here from multiple other people.
View on Google ↗High recommend! I’ve been to quite a few climbing gyms in northern Colorado and none were as welcoming and helpful as Ascent. My toddler has become obsessed with climbing and having no experience myself, I was a little intimidated walking into a climbing gym. All of the staff everyday have been extremely helpful and patient. I feel as confident and prepared as I can be to support my daughter’s newest passion. After taking an intro class, I was able to pass my top rope belay cert and Matias was super motivating, patient, and supportive. Unlike any other gym we’ve been to so we will continue coming back and recommending ascent to our community!
View on Google ↗Beautiful gym with loads of color on the walls, huge volume route was super cool, sweet bouldering ramp where you can put together some very long problems. Highly recommend stopping by to climb whether new or experienced.
View on Google ↗Loved our family’s time at Ascent. Large variety of walls and route, friendly and helpful staff. We were visiting from out of town but hope to come back.
