We just saw a Little Shop of Horrors at the Arts Hub and it was amazing. The performers were so great and funny and all amazing singers. Recently we had the pleasure of seeing Ellen Greene open for a screening of Little Shop of Horrors at Paramount Theater and she sang Somewhere That's Green so it was especially moving hearing it live last night, both my daughter and I teared up listening to Sammie Armatas sing the ending of it. So good. Typically when you're going to a little bit of a smaller show you want to temper your expectations and think you know who knows what kind of a show it's going to be it might not be super great but we were blown away but by the talent of the actors last night, everyone was so wonderful. The only qualm I had, which no one could control I suppose, was the lady incessantly talking behind me all night long. I found it to be so disrespectful not only to the fellow patrons but to the performers but whatever I tried glaring at her but she was so absorbed in her own conversation that she didn't even notice and I didn't want to create a further disturbance by trying to say something but my goodness could I please hear the performers thank you I'm sure they want to get the audience's undivided attention as well they've worked hard, they deserve quiet focus and attention from the audience. It's funny because she was even talking to her kids and her kids were the ones trying to tell her shhh but she paid the no mind and continued talking at regular everyday volume not even quietly lol. But even despite all of that the performance was so moving and funny and enjoyable. And at least the lady was quiet during Somewhere That's Green lol. Anyway highly recommended especially for this particular play but if something else comes up I will probably keep it in mind. This was my first time going to the Arts Hub since I'm all the way down in Castle Rock it's a little bit of a drive but I still enjoyed my experience and I would come back.
View on Google ↗This is a mixed review for sure, just saw Legally Blond, the first show that we have attended here. Show was great, couldn't ask for a much better performance, the cast and crew did an amazing job. The downside, patrons were simply not respected, the performance started way late, they seemed to oversell the show so they were putting folding chairs in the aisles and on the steps next to the seats. The intermission was almost 30 minutes, not the 15 they said it would be. Seemed that the venue was just not organized and professionally run. Very sad, the cast and crew that brought this amazing show to life deserve better and so do the patrons. Unfortunately we will probably think twice before we go again.
View on Google ↗What a creative and well-run place! It is so wonderful to have this community resource right close to home. My daughter's love of ballet has only grown with the beautifully costumed and staged recitals right at the Arts HUB (no jittery nerves and overblown coordination to perform in a space different than daily classes). Both my daughter (6yrs) and son (3.5 yrs) have also thrived from the arts classes offered here for summer camps. I feel so comfortable and supported when bringing my children here to grow their creative possibilities.

View on Google ↗The assistant stage manager for legally blonde seemed to have a weird vendetta against certain cast members. Would absolutely not recommend if you want to get involved in the community here.
